LOCAL CLEANER EARNS INDUSTRY HONOR
Vancouver, B.C. – February 18, 2003—Johannes
Angai of Helping Hand Cleaners has earned the title “Certified
Professional Wetcleaner” as a result of meeting
established qualifications for the title and successfully
passing a program which involves a rigorous course of study
followed by comprehensive written examination administered
by a professional testing corporation under contract with
the International Fabricare Institute (IFI).
Certified Professional Wetcleaners can provide their customers
with:
- Proven up-to-date knowledge of business management, Customer
service, fibers and fabrics, and the wetcleaning process.
- Adherence to the “Professional Standards of Certified
Cleaners”
- An awareness of the professional and safe operation of
drycleaning establishments.
According to IFI, Angai is currently the only CPW in Canada.
IFI is a trade association representing approximately 9000
drycleaners, launderers and wetcleaners in United States and
Canada and 54 other nations.
